Molding Design-Cast 66

Occasionally DC-66 is used to cast pieces by lay-up in a mold, with fiberglass reinforcement, instead of using DESIGN-CAST 62. You can use DC-66 on steeply sloped mold surfaces where run-off would be encountered with DESIGN-CAST 62, which is more fluid. Also, you can use DC-66 if you need a working time longer than DC-62 provides.

Please note: Design-Cast 62 and Design-Cast 66 are FULLY COMPATIBLE WITH EACH OTHER if used in different parts of the same casting, and have similar final properties when fully cured.

To form DC-66 in a mold, please follow the LAY-UP PROCEDURE for DESIGN-CAST 62.
