Design-Cast 66
is recommended for direct modeling of final sculpture usually reinforced
by fiberglass and built up over a Styrofoam®
or steel-mesh covered armature. It is also recommended for some
molded sculpture made by lay-up with fiberglass reinforcement, where
there are vertical surfaces on which run-off might otherwise be
a problem. Detailed information about Design-Cast 66 is available
here. |

Sealers AA-6 (matte) and AA-7 (gloss)
can be applied as a clear, non-yellowing, removable coating that
protects completed Design-Cast works from salt spray, acidic air
pollutants, weather erosion, oils, grease, alcohols, and other damaging
materials. In addition, they can also be used as patina vehicles
for a variety of weather-stable pigments. Detailed information about
both sealers can be found here. |

Retarder MC is used to extend the working
time of either Design-Cast 62 or Design-Cast
66. This is particularly useful when working in hot weather,
because heat will normally reduce the working time of both materials.
Detailed information about Retarder MC is available here. |
