Retarder MC is used to extend the working time of Design-Casts 62 or 66. This is particularly useful when working in hot weather, because heat normally reduces the working time of either material.

Mixing Ratio
Use up to 0.25% of retarder based on the weight of dry mix - typically this can double the working time for a given temperature. 0.25% amounts to about 25 drops of retarder per pound of dry mix.

Mixing Procedure
To mix in, add the retarder to the water and polymer mixture before adding the dry mix.
